Captain Richard Pevey, Jr. is an insured U.S. Coast Guard and Texas Parks and Wildlife licensed Captain whose lifelong passion has been fishing the shallow water flats of the Texas Gulf Coast for over 30 years. Captain Pevey is an accomplished fly fisherman and light tackle fisherman that enjoys sharing his knowledge of the Texas Coast with fishermen of all levels.

   The Captain spends countless hours reading the saltwater flats to scout desired game fish and to gain a greater understanding of the fish habitat and their predatory actions to provide fishermen with an unforgettable angling adventure. Captain Pevey is an active, enthusiastic tournament fisherman and belongs to various angling organizations including but not limited to the Coastal Conservation Association, Texas Saltwater Series and wadefishing.com.

   Captain Pevey supports catch and release and is committed to preservation and conservation of coastal resources.
